I begin with a sincere thank you for your patience, kindness, and support while I was away. This past week was meaningful in ways both personal and creative. I had the joy of supporting my son as he graduated and stepped into the next phase of his journey—one of those proud, heart‑full moments that remind you how quickly time moves.
|
|
After Life carried me through that milestone, it brought me into the company of three incredible, internationally legendary Bead Artists. I was welcomed into the homes and Bead Studios of Bead Artist and designer Cheryl Erickson of Artistic Beads, author, Bead and mixed media Artist, and instructor Diane Fitzgerald of DianeFitzgeraldBeads, and Bead Artist, Bead voyage tour guide, and instructor Doris Coghill of Dee's Place. Spending time with them was educational, inspiring, energizing, and exactly the kind of creative spark I love bringing back to our community.

I’ve gathered fantastic new supplies for the shop—fresh Beads, unique treasures, and special items selected with all of you in mind. Many of these goodies are destined for kits for the Omaha Beady Bunch Beads & Blooms Getaway, and I can’t wait for you to see what’s in store.

Even more exciting:
Foxy Squirrel will soon feature kits and patterns designed by world‑renowned artists Cheryl Erickson and Diane Fitzgerald. These are truly special offerings, and I’m thrilled they will soon be available right here in our little corner of Rockbrook Village.

Thank you again for your patience while I was away and for being the heart of this Bead Boutique. I’m so happy to be back—refreshed, inspired, and ready to share all the sparkle I gathered along the way.

A Fun With Color Student nailed it when she went totally rogue from her typical color scheme and chose this warm and rather romantic palette. (And, dang, she did it so quickly, too!)
