Hi, there, my Bead-loving Friend,
|
|
The Bead hustle continually finds new fuel in the forms of kindness, generosity, talent, and wisdom of others, coupled with sparks of inspiration from Beads & patterns of the past and the present! (Run on sentence, you say? Perhaps.)

I brought a veritable load of sparkles, colors, and surprises for you from Bead curator and designer, Cheryl Erickson and her staff from her former shop, Artistic Beads. Cheryl's incredible kits have been available at Foxy Squiirrel for a couple months now and we have slowly been turning out samples for them here and there. I was (am still) Utterly. Blown. Away. by what I unpacked from this most recent haul from Cheryl. Like the multitude of new strands of Chinese Glass & Crystal Beads I mentioned in the last Newsletter (see in the image how the strands have mutliplied? and there are more (and more) to come), there are so very many incredibly gorgeous samples of Cheryl's kits & classes and other un-be-liev-a-ble hand-crafted jewelry & accessory pieces (remarkable) (there really aren't words) ... It is gonna take some time to share them all with you. !!! Pictured above the strands are just the eensiest taste of some of the samples and jewelry. Foxy Squirrel Bead (yep, got those) & BOUTIQUE (yep, that part is coming to life, too.)

Did you know Metal Noodle Beads can be used as glue-in closures for slide-on or over-head cord or macrame jewelry? I didn't until a most-treasured beading guru enlightened me this past weekend! Now I am super stoked to make a simple macrame bracelet with a few beads and a Noodle Bead for a clasp. Perfect summer vibe! I've got some C-Lon here, I think I will start tonight!

PS Zap-A-Gap is an excellent adhesive to use in this endeavor to ensure fibers are permeated and the Noodle Clasp secured.💝🦊🐿️
