Again, there is a lot happening this week at the Bead Shop. In addition to 3 Classes, our Omaha Beady Bunch Meeting will be held this Thursday at 6:30 here! I am honored and humbled that our little Bead Shop will be the new venue for our meeting.

I'm a whole new kind of buried (the very best kind) at the shop with events and buzz and Beads. There is a little private sale taking place this week. While on my excursion, one of the best parts was listening to the ideas and wisdom of the incredible women I met. In the past, Cheryl wrote the weekly newsletter for her shop. I'm forever asking my "IT Department" (aka FIL💗) to not share archives of these newsletters because "the coupons are expired and so is most of the info about classes that have already happened." But it doesn't have to be that way. Cheryl featured a "Did You Know?" section in her newsletter. At first, that sounded truly impossible. I would have to continually interview all of you so I would "know"
something to post! But, truly, that is not necessarily the case. I "know" a little bit. And I learn more and more every time I'm at the shop and meet all of you. I don't want to blatantly use Cheryl's title. I'm chewing on little nuggets of potential titles for such a feature. Foxy Facts? Squirrel Share? Foxy Squirrel Findings? Hmm. Not feeling it yet but I am confident I will!

Classes are below. Buried or not, I'm totally stopping to take the second Design With Intent Class. It is so very hard for me not to sit beside you in ALL of the Classes!! I WANT TO TAKE THEM ALL!!!!! When Beaders & Makers come in with their projects and they want my opinion, this Class helps me see beyond colors I am strongly drawn towards and opens my mind to see more possibilities and opportunities with colors and textures and finishes that I tend to shy away from. Here's a fun Foxy but probably more Squirrelly fact: When I first got the shop, A very talented and generous Beader said I "had to make sure to have plenty of Silver Lined Beads." I thought to myself..."hmm. k." You probably know by now that I am NOT a sparkle girl. Does my stash have a Silver Lined Bead that does not have a Matte finish? Mm. Don't think so. BUT so. many. of. you give me goosebumps with all of your sparkle!! So, yes, she was right. My appreciation for all of the works grows and expands literally every single time you share your works with me. What if by the end of this series, I intentionally chose a Silver Lined Bead to use to make a sparkly project? I'm not holding my breath, but my mind is (almost) open to the idea. I am totally all in for open minds.
