This month has been full of so many changes. I find myself wanting to grasp and hold on and cling but these only result in such uncomfortable tension. Instead, I pause. I look. I feel. I accept. I let go. And I breathe in and then I breathe out. And then I am quiet and amazed.
|

At the end of December, I combed through so many pictures looking for "before" pictures of the Shop when there were only, like, 4 shelves on 2 racks with seed beads. I knew they were there and I found some. Today, I got a Google notification about a look back on a year ago about this time...what a wild and crazy difference a year makes. At that time, there were zero tools, no Czech Glass, no Trade Beads, no Gemstones, hardly any findings, the beginnings of a painting on the door, and naked mannequins. A year later and it can be a tight little squeeze in here when there is a Class with a full house! Also, at that time, I didn't want to sell seed beads off of the lowest shelves, partly to keep Beaders from needing to bend down to shop and partly because ...would I actually ever have that many beads?! It turns out, that, umm, yes, while there is room for more (I am confident that I will always find room for more) there are, actually, that many beads. !😇 THANK YOU!! to the Beaders who helped get the NEW Seed Beads out this weekend!! You are living, breathing, Beading Angels.💗

As promised, Ginny is going to teach several different Bead Stitches this year. First up is Peyote Stitch. Ginny will cover both Odd & Even Count Peyote. If you missed our Peyote Classes last year, we got you!! Peyote is a fundamental Beading Stitch that is used in so many different projects. This Class is excellent for Beginning Beaders as well as Beaders who want to get more comfortable with learning the difference between the stitches and when to apply them. Register here.
