Thank you so very much for this past weekend holiday. Our son was home (with shoulders that definitely filled out the jacket that was much too big for him in December) for the weekend from Air Force Tech School (is that the proper term?) AND I got to meet our other son's & his partner's brand new daughter ... our first grandchild!💕 I ended up opening the store for someone from out of town to whom I spoke to before I knew Saturday would be "my day" with him. Thank goodness she called. I always appreciate the opportunity to be of service. It turned out that there were more people in town looking for Beads that afternoon. The little Bead shop was busy until normal closing time! (I got to make the kids pancakes that morning and then they all scattered to be with friends and whatnot...Truly, the customer called just as it was getting a little too quiet at home.)

Keep your eyes on this Newsletter and the socials...Soon, Foxy Squirrel will be featuring the incredibly-popular kits from Diakonos Designs, as seen at the Omaha Bead Affair last month! I've been working on this order for a couple weeks, actually. This weekend provided the time needed to make it happen! The Beaders that have come in to the shop with their makes are thrilled to show them off and remark that the kits are very straightforward, projects come together very quickly (under an hour sometimes!) and some don't even require any special tools.
